To: Douglas County CACFP Day Care Providers

As some of you might be aware a sponsor has been found to take over the CACFP DCP program. They will take over June 1st. There is a note included in this letter from Family Connections, Linn Benton Community College, about some important dates for you. There will be a letter from them a little later and a letter from ODE CNP to explain the process further.

With our program ending May 31st we will not be able to take late claims or do any revisions after that time. So before you send in your May claim please check for errors. If errors are found there will not be time for corrections after we have your claim. Otherwise the process will be within the usual timelines.

We want to thank all of you for your continuing contribution to quality child care and nutritious meals. We wish you luck in your partnership with Family Connections and hope this transition is smooth for everyone involved.

If you would like further information as to how processes will go until the end of May and your meal reimbursement please give me a call. If you have questions of Family Connections you can discuss them at your mandatory meeting in May.

Your May claims will be processed by UCAN. If you have any questions about this claim please call me at (541) 673-6306 ext. 120.

Important notice from (Linn Benton Community College) CACFP Program: Family Connections

In order to facilitate a smooth transition to your new Child Care Food Program, Family Connections will be offering two orientations in Douglas County. The orientations will be Wednesday, May 11 and Thursday, May 12 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. These orientations will take place at UCAN where the current CACFP program is housed, 280 Kenneth Ford Drive, Roseburg, OR. You will need to attend one of the orientations to guarantee that you will continue to receive your payments without interruption. Please call Family Connections at 541-917-4901 or 800-845-1363 to sign up for an Orientation. Every effort will be made to accommodate your 1st choice. A letter with more detailed information will be coming soon from Family Connections.
