The WarmLine is a Douglas county wide, toll-free telephone support service providing information and referral services to community, state, and federal resources.
We can:
- Help families locate community resources and support.
- Provide direction to senior services and activity centers.
- Provide information or referrals to services for disabled persons.
- Connect people with job training resources in the community.
- Provide resource information related to teen and youth activities.
A WarmLine Specialist will:
- Provide callers with information and/or a helpful assessment of the situation and identification of appropriate resources.
- Provide advocacy on behalf of those who may need extra support to access necessary services.
- Provide follow-up for callers who would like additional support.
- Support your right to confidential access to information and assistance based on your personal value system.
- Treat every call with respect and cultural sensitivity.
