No one will rent to me because I made some mistakes in the past.

Douglas County offers a Second Chance Renter's Rehabilitation and Advocacy Program. Second Chance is a five-week, ten-session workshop series designed to assist renters in becoming better tenants. Participants gain the skills, strategies, and self-confidence needed to obtain and maintain housing. They learn ways to overcome bad credit and poor rental history. Graduates have the opportunity to earn a letter of recommendation to a prospective landlord. Please call (541)492-3905 for details about this program.
