HOME TBAHome Tenant Based Assistance is a self-sufficiency program that assists families and individuals with rental assistance for a period of six months up to two years in time. Participants are required to meet monthly with a Family Resource Coordinator to address issues such as budgeting, housekeeping, education, parenting, job training and employment. Participants establish and complete realistic goals during their time on the program in an effort to move towards stabilization. Public Service Announcements are sent to community agencies and local newspapers throughout Douglas County informing the public of dates when UCAN will be accepting applications for the program. This happens approximately one to two times a year.
