UCAN AmeriCorps serves our communities across Douglas and Josephine Counties. Our program places members within UCAN programs to help expand their capacity to provide services to clients and explore new and exciting initiatives. For our members we provide meaningful professional development and opportunities to build skills and connections that can help kickstart your career!

Communities in Southern Oregon often explore creative solutions to achieve success with limited means. Our members are improving the lives of our clients through leading nutrition education programs, aiding early learning initiatives, providing life and employment skills workshops, supporting housing insecurity, teaching sustainable energy practices, helping ignite volunteerism, and planning fun and informative community events. Members are dedicated to the AmeriCorps motto “Get Things Done”, and it is our guiding principle as a program.
